ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am Luis Bravo Carrillo, a tattoo artist based in Miami, United States. My artistic journey began during my teenage years when I got involved in urban art, "specifically graffiti". This experience sparked my interest in drawing and visual design, allowing me to freely develop and express thoughts and ideas.
After finishing high school, I discovered in tattooing another way to express and share art without limits. This led me to develop a deeper interest from a new perspective, and that’s when I decided to pursue it professionally. I trained in body art with the specialist and renowned tattoo artist Cesar Pinto, and I have been practicing this art for a year and a half.
I set up my private studio, “UNDERINK,” in my apartment, and I am currently in constant learning and training. I am studying Graphic Design at Toulouse Lautrec Institute to complement and expand my knowledge applied to tattooing.
I particularly enjoy working with sketch, black and grey, and lettering styles in tattooing, as well as drawing still lifes and realistic designs.
I was also part of Dharma Tattoo Studio, led by Gery Guns, which helped me take my skills to a more professional level.
